Home to the Bluebirds

by Cheshire Kat   Apr 27, 2007

I want to go to a place called home,
A place where I wont be alone.
A place where I can laugh and smile,
A place where I might live a while.

Home is where the bluebirds sing
Home is a dancing ring:
Of children, of pets, or laughter and tears
A place where there shall be no fears.

A home where the sun can shine
A home where everythings just fine.
A paradise, surrounded by flowers.
Where I can laugh for hours and hours.

Home to where the bluebirds sing,
Home to where I can bring something.
A bird, a present, a broken heart.
Shattered hopes and dreams broken apart.

My home, my castle, my paradise place.
Is where Ill find a cheerful face.
Not in Africa, not in Rome.
But in a place where Ill call home.

Home is where the bluebirds sing.
Louder, louder, their voices ring.
Feathers flying; Im on a roam
To the place where I call home!
