To Mumzie.

by ALEX   Apr 28, 2007

Instead of frowning
at what I am...
Please think of what
I'm not.
I'm not a stoner.
Not on drugs.
My friendship can't be
bought.

I'm still a
virgin.
Or at least
a half.
Just joking,
Mum.
Remember to
laugh!

And so, I like to
shop a lot.
I like to
look good too.
Please don't point out
every flaw.
It makes me feel so
blue.

I like to
snowboard.
I'm not that
bad.
Sometimes I'm
stupid.
But Mummy,
don't be mad.

I want to make you
happy.
But sometimes,
life's a chore.
I get good grades to
make you proud.
But you always just want
more.

Intersting, but its true parents keep wanting more form us, but its just because they want us to be the best that we can be. Great poem though.
