New Years [i love you]

I've heard about what eyes can do.
I never doubted it was true.
You sent a message through the air.
An intercepted lover's stare.

The deepest teal I've ever seen.
You'll never know just what I mean.
The secret message I sent back...
got lost as we passed by the track.

So jump the fence, the quickest way.
You land, then turn to me and say:
Just climb on up, it's not so hard...
You'll hold my hand as we run through yards.

And at the door, just one last kiss.
And let me tell you, this is bliss.
But much too soon, you have to leave.
My very favorite New Year's Eve.
