This is where I've come to hide
Is it safe here?
Away from me
Falling in you
This is where I've chosen to be
In your arms
I found a place for me
Please don't push me away now
I've got nowhere else to go
I need to free my soul
I need to think about it all
I need time to figure it out
I need a place to hide
Away from me
Oh and I know you don't believe me
When I say I'm too afraid
Of being alone again
I say I finally found
A place to belong to
And it's in you
Are you safe?
Will you protect me?
Cause I need to run away from my life
But when I run I crash into you
And I don't know how to ignore
All my pain
It's getting to be too much
So I walk away
Hoping to find somewhere
Where I can hide
Away from me
But ultimately
That place is always you
Will you hold me?
Will you save me
From myself?...

    Every time I hug her I sort of feel like this too. "why can't we just stay like this?" "this is nice. why don't you come back and do the promises you told me?"
    I know how hard it can feel. but writing it down helps. ;) good stuff.

    Wow.. i LOVE LOVE LOVE this poem.. its fantastic.. the emotion is so strong and the flow is really nice too.. i love the structure and the choppy lines.. its a nice touch.. a very enjoyable read..
