United Against Me

by skynerraw   Apr 28, 2007

My best friends are uniting
Against me, and what I think
I don't know why I bother fighting
My sanity is on a brink

Why don't they believe me?
I've never done anything to
Make them not see
My words to them are true

I don't think she's changing
That was all fake
Their minds are just ranging
They won't care if I jump in a lake

I don't know why I try
No matter what I say
They'll just make me cry
Ruin my entire day

Because I'm losing them
Because of this poem, that's fake
They will condemn
Me to this hell, whatever it I'll take

Because it's better than now
Trapped in this insanity
I just want to ask how?
Nothing is left of humanity

Yea, this is actually true
Not one that is fake
But will it be believed by you?
Let's make this fight take a break

In this work you shouted out alot of fustration but never once did you even reflect as to why your friends felt like this or the reasoning behind it all I think if you presented both sides of the coin your work would blossom. Plot121

This poem isn't one of your absolute bests, but it could be with a little work. Try abandoning the rhyming scheme and let the thoughts flow from your mind onto your paper or computer screen, whichever method you choose. I understand the basis behind this poem because all girls are confronted with these issues/problems when they are young. You'll get through it...keep writing, I enjoy your poems!
