Guilty Realisation

by honeypot   Apr 28, 2007

Sing a song of sorrow
a life was lost in vain
sing a soothing melody
to ease a mothers pain

Dance a jig of happiness
a child is born at last
dance for brand new memories
to pacify the past

Whisper in the darkness
a secret best forgotten
whisper prayers with hollow eyes
to cleanse a soul thats rotten

Touch a hand of healing
a tender guilty pleasure
touch upon a feeling
that you will forever treasure

Cry a sea of tears
a letter in the post
cry with realisation
she was the one that loved you most.
