You hurt inside your heart

by Jessica Henning   Apr 29, 2007

You hurt inside your heart
Because things just untwined
The ground begins to part
And your teeth begin to grind

You strive to stay up straight
To keep you on your feet
The anger and the hate
You give up cause your beat

Gravity brought you down
But the people tore you up
They treat you like a clown
To you their not a shlup

Your mind and body ache
Your tears don?t fall no more
You pretend to drown in a lake
But you fall unto the floor

The friends you thought you had
Put that knife into your back
They left you feeling bad
In your heart they left a crack

To those you truly loved
Left you to feel uneasy
Your innocence was shoved
Their smiles to you look cheesy

This poem is just the start
To show you how I feel
Because this was my heart
And the pain inside is real...
