That Fatal Day..September 11 poem in honour of those who died

by Hailey   Apr 14, 2004

Nobody Saw it coming
What happened that fatal day
When the world changed forever
When hell came our way

The planes attacked so suddenly
Few people had time to get out
Everyone inside those buildings
Could only scream and shout

Suicidal bombers called themselves hero's
And their countries stood by their side
How can you be a hero
When your the reason so many people died

Innocent wives and husbands murdered
Because some people thought it was right
To take away their freedom
From people who had no chance to fight

Families morn for there loss of loved ones
Because of a cruel and cold attack
From people who think they did it in honour
If they had the chance they wouldn't take it back

These hero's as they call themselves
Took their lives to kill so many others
It isn't right in any society
To away so many fathers and mothers

But when judgement day arrives
You'll see the victims standing in gods light
And the others who caused our pain
Will realise in hell what they did wasn't right

My heart goes out to all who lost
Those families who live this hell each day
Because of someones belief in wrong rather the right
We put the dead down to lay

I didn't lose anyone in 9/11 but many people did and i wrote this because in my eyes those victims who died are our hero's and I'm sure their happy in heaven...They deserve out respect and this poem Ive written is my respect...Rest In Peace
