It wasn't in the manual
They never said it out loud
Never mentioned the tears they give you
All the screams & shouts.
Nobody ever told us
Where it was going to lead
Never got any explanation
Why mothers have all mouths to feed.
My dad, he never does a thing
I have had no birthday present,
Not even a little card.
Even for a mommy's kid,
This is quite hard.
But anyways,
Thanks for the trust you never gave me
Or the shoulder to lean on,
Which I never got the chance to see.
I'll always remember the tears you made me cry
Or the times it was like your fist was pumping through my brain
The times you made me feel stupid
Or made my mom insane .
