An Everlasting Walk

by Bradley Peter   Apr 29, 2007

A sorry sight, is my face this day
I walk slow, with a hanging head
My feet they drag, my arms they sway
And I look like the walking dead

Hours pass, without passing me
As the day, soon turns to night
It gets too dark, for even cats to see
But I continue without any fright

Thoughts, surrounding my mind
Making me blind to the world around
Searching for answers I cannot find
To questions that beg to be found

The questions, are of life and death
The answer, is the death of a friend
For that friend, there is nothing left
And for me there is only the end
