I Don't Want Your Love

by Jenni Marie   Apr 29, 2007

Leaving flowers at my home
Sending countless notes
Acting as though everything's fine
Though it was my heart you broke.

Saying you want things to be the same
That this time our love will last
Want me to forget everything you did
As though I can just erase the past.

How many times do I have to tell you
That now I have moved on
Yet you insist on staying in my life
Even though I want you gone.

I'll never forgive you for what you did
You left me feeling really blue
Yet I always told you a time would come
When you love me but I wont love you.

    This is sad.
But it didn't make me cry.
I love that you didn't go overboard.
    On the very first stanza.
It would sound a whole lot better
    If you
    Just use
    Everything is instead of everthing's.
    It just sounds smarter.
    All in all, it's good.
    5/5?

Aww, this one's cute! (In a sorta sad, but really good kind of way!) I agree w/ Noel, it's got a good flow. Good poem, 5/5
