The Storm

by BeautifulxMess   Apr 29, 2007

The sky above cries out to it's Sun.
Seeking for it's mate of eternal light.
Spacious grays cover the clouds.
The storm will end this very night.

Thunder rolls over the land it seeks.
Lightning clouts into the moist ground.
Rain beats down on the concrete.
The storm will start to spread around.

Plants shake and ask for pity.
Roots drink up the rain in ease.
Asking for mercy to bail the scare.
The storm grows like a deadly disease.

The storms wrath fades in the sky.
The sun shines it's glory upon the terrain.
As the sky weeps with joy and glee.
The storm and sky will soon meet again.

This is a very nice poem, I love the detail you used while describing the poem. I felt it was very appropriately titled, and flowed nicely. Great job!
