A Hero Within

by Bradley Peter   Apr 29, 2007

Each man, woman, and child
A hero in their own right
But we all fall sometimes
However we try to fight

Sometimes heros fall
Sometimes to never return
Fighting all the battles
In every way they turn

The world gets harder to save
'Til we can't take the weight
We see that we're losing
But we see it all too late

The hardest ever battles
Are the ones we fight within
The everlasting stand
That we don't always win

But even a broken hero
Can rise above the dust
And even after falling
Return to right the unjust

There's a hero in us all
Just fighting to save the day
And though villains can attack
Our hero keeps them at bay
