Miracles Shrouded In Evil

by ben thompson   Apr 29, 2007

Trapped in lonesome desolation
Held captive in my mind
Secret voices haunt me
Known in ancient times

They tell of things to come
For-biding me to speak
Paralyze my arms and legs
The culling of the meek

Fear my only companion
Everything is lost
Loved ones in the gallows
They pay a heavy cost

Satan spews his poison
He wills day to night
Miracles he shrouds in evil
Humanity basked in blight
