Remeber me

by Miranda Apathetic   Apr 30, 2007

Waiting in the shadows for someone to make a move.
A single shot fired out, no ones ready to lose.
So its out of the darkness and in to the light
Guns cocked and loaded we are ready to fight.
Bullets racing by our heads,
A friend falls,
I know hes dead,
No time to cry,
Hardly time to care,
When there are bombs falling through poison air.
On go the gas masks.
Hope they work,
Hope we live,
Hope no one else gets hurt.
Time to snap back to reality.
Blood puddles at our feet.
Bodies hit the floor.
Bullets ringing out.
Such a head rush, some times its way too much.
Misery surrounds all of us,
We still hold our heads up high
This is our last chance to be remembered,
Last chance to have a place in history
Instead of just being another nameless corpse.
We are working for a better world
In a war to end all wars
We knew we were brought here to fight,
We didnt know we would be sent here to die!
