To be Empty

Have you seen my emotions
They ran off to random nowhere
To leave me feeling empty
To force myself to care

I'm crawling through a dark, thick fog
I can't tell right from left
If only I knew the reason
For this emotion theft

A whisper of sensation
Now taunts me without a care
Without a sign from where it is
No helpful little flare

I have given up all hope
Of overcoming this condition
Every time I feel a feeling
It's only intermission
