The Stalker on the Walkie-Talkie

by XSugarSexSuicideX   Apr 30, 2007

The girl sits down in her chair
Inside the school library,
She opens up her script
And turns on her walkie-talkie.

The play begin, and the girl
Steps up to the plate,
Asking what part of the play they're on
So the actors won't be late.

She flips the pages of her script,
Quiets the room with a single scream,
It is something she just heard,
A man's voice on the walkie-talkie.

The girl on stage with a walkie-talkie,
Her voice is not heard,
Only a strange male voice,
The library girl says not a word.

"Hello, hello, the Wizard of Oz?"
The stranger's voice questions,
The girl grows even more afraid,
How does he know the performance?

She starts to shiver, and yells for a kid
To go find the Tech Director,
And suddenly a sound fills her ears,
The sound of manic laughter.

She stares at the walkie-talkie,
Her eyes filled with dread,
Her fingers close around it
As she brings it to her head.

She listened to the insane cackle
As the cast crowded around her chair,
The room suddenly went quiet,
She looked up, "He's still there."

The director walked in then,
And grabbed the walkie-talkie,
He switched it with a new one
And left the library.

The scanning stalker didn't come back,
The actors still performed,
On and on, and the play is done,
But somewhere, the stalker still roams.

*Friday night's performance...this actually happened to me! I was scared out of my mind...I thought someone was going to come inside! We were alright...we switched walkie-talkies and nobody talked to him. Still kinda creepy though...*
