There He Is

by Margo   Apr 30, 2007

There he is
Just standing there
Your thinking how could he
Think I am so stupid
To believe that yet
He keeps at it
Just saying it
Pretending that is what happened
Trying to convince you
That some how what he is saying is true
Your thinking
Yeah right
Only someone who was born yesterday
Would believe a crock like that
There he is just standing there
Those eyes looking like some kind of wired Something
All watery and red
Face looking all shriveled and fake almost as if
It were a ghost
There he is lying there on the couch
Knocked out cold
You know what has happened
You know it's the drugs
Not again you think in your head
You feel like screaming
Your knees start to tremble
Everything is a blur
Your eyes start to water
Pretty soon your crying
All alone in your room wishing it
Never happened
