As I follow your footsteps
I'm getting no where
I just feel pain and sadness
Hoping that happiness would appear

As I keep following you
I'm wondering why
Why would you do this to me
Why would you lie

Trying to keep up with you
I tend to slow down
I gave up on what you gave me

As I watched you from a far
You were walking too fast
