Why did you walk away
when i said "it's over"
you knew there was more to say
but you didn't stop walking
you should have known
there was something more
words i couldn't get out
the look in my eyes
gave it all away
I was afraid that you would notice
but i had nothing to fear
you just couldn't hear my silent pleas
i begged for you to understand
but i have something to say
this moment, right now
it's not over
though it kills me inside
to see you with her
it's not over
never was and never will be
I can tell you still care
and someday you'll see that i do
