My Mask

by Some Random Guy42   Apr 30, 2007

I put this mask on to keep the people happy
It's a happy mask, not a tear to be seen
I took it off for the ones with backstage passes
But they don't want that, they don't like who I've been

So now I put my mask on one final time
The edges are nicked, it's going to get tears
But it'll hold up it won't let out any tears
And deep underneath it will hide all my fears

I put my mask on, never to come off again
I couldn't act my show before, I needed my backstage
But I'll work through it I won't let if off again
On top people will be happy, and underneath I'll dissapear

    Such a sad poem hun!!

So now I put my mask on one final time
The edges are nicked, it's going to get tears
But it'll hold up it won't let out any tears
And deep underneath it will hide all my fears

This was my favorite stanza of all.
Its so deep the last line really makes it stand out!
