Day of Blessing

To see an ounce of happiness in her eyes,
Or to find a hint of truth in her smile,
Would be nothing less than a blessing,
The day of this blessing is impending,
It will sweep through with overwhelming power,
Bringing a deadly storm of surprise and pain,
A day like no other, a day of no other days,
Insuperable; threatening, it approaches with time,
