The flu

by doug frazier   Apr 30, 2007

My tummy is aching. I'm feeling like hell,
and things at the office just ain't going well.

My strength is gone, I know I'm going to die
and I can't get up, no matter how hard I try.

My nose won't stop running, I've got a sore throat
when I try to talk, I sound like a goat.

My head feels like a football, that somebody kicked,
and my stomach's cramping, I think I'm going to be sick.

I have to eat liquids or I'll throw up again,
and that's the way it comes out down at my other end. (Embarrasing)

Why is it always me catching a cold or the flu,
you know I'd feel better if I could give it to you.

Because then you wouldn't laugh at the mess that I'm in
and just to think, I thought you were my friend.

But that's o.k., your days goning to come,
you'll come looking for sympathy, and will not find none.

Then that will teach you to make fun of me.
I don't get mad, I get even, just wait and see.
