A Poem of Reason

by NytherHerenorTher The hooded poet   May 1, 2007

Of the holiest and purest crimson drops, did not the scales of justice they balance?
Were not our sure fates eternally changed by the most precious and most sacred act of love this world has ever known?

Let us reason, that the Word himself, dressed in mortal flesh, showed us the grace of the Father

Does not the heart beat with joy at the thought of such a sacrifice?
Does not pain rack the heart, at the thought of such a sacrifice?
Blessed be the Christ, for he his love has changed forever!

Let us reason, that the only begotten Son of the Father, would choose to freely give his life for a worthless wretch as I

God, his last for us he gave,...by this........,
should not we do the same???????????
