I've come to the conclusion I want to be your first and last
But until anything happens, my heart is beating fast
I have butterflies in my tummy when I look into your eyes
I'm mesmerized by your glow when the sun shines down from the skies

I want to be under the stars and feel romantic bliss
Have you lean forward and us both take our first kiss
I want us both to feel a connection to where we never want to let go
I want to be your last kiss when the good Lord takes your soul

I want to be the first and last girl you'll ever want to marry
"Till death do us part" will be a vow we forever carry
I want us to stay sexually pure until the day that we wed
However I want to be the first and last girl you make love to in bed

Promise me I'll be your first and last wife to have your kids
We can get through anything bumps, holes, or skids
Let me be your first thought in the morning and last prayer at night
Promise me we'll never go to bed angry after a fight

Because I want to be the first thing you see when you wake up and last before you sleep
Be the first person running over if I ever hear you weep
I don't want to even blink in another mans way
Because I trust you to never throw my love away

I want you to be my first and last true love
Promise you'll be the first to catch me whenever I'm shoved
I've come to the conclusion I want to be your first and last
And until anything happens, my heart continues to beat fast

    This is so beautiful. I searched long and hard on the featured writers poems because I want them to know I read the poem.
    Virginity is not just physical but mental as well and you paint that beautifully in this poem. You wouldn't even want to blink another man's way. That is love in the purest of forms. I have chosen this exquisite write as one of your best. Although I have not read all of them I felt like this was a message that needs to be sent to young adults today. So many of us passed the oppurtunity to "save ourselves" and it needs to be taught. Wonderful write dear.
