That Girl Who Always Smiled

by Poet   May 1, 2007

There was a girl who never frowned, never once shed a tear
But in her heart she kept inside all her hidden fears
She smiled and laughed and played along, with every thing that was said
When deep inside of her own heart she wanted nothing more but to be dead
She watched him every single day and knew he played them all
But her best friend laughed all the while and let him help her fall
She knew more about those two then anyone could dream
She knew deep inside behind the glass it wasn't what it seemed
She tried to help and give advice wherever she need be
She wanted so badly within it all to help her best friend see
This girl among all the madness and the pain
Was slowly going over the edge, little by little going insane
She would cut away the pain inside, the sadness and the loss
She wanted no one to go through what she had with him or pay that cost
So she tried to give her friend warning, tried to shield her from the pain
When slowly both of the girls were going insane
One day after it all was torn apart
Both the girls grabbed a blade and stabbed eachother in the heart
So they lie there on the floor blood puddles everywhere
And all because they hate there lives and nobody ever cared
