World ends

One night in this world
were the green grass is gone
from the water that comes
You will be here to watch it go down

When every human is gone and
with strength as we hold on
heart will bare the pain of others
not yet saved.

The sky looks bare
yet with out a care
we stack on what we like
not what is to be needed

I walk along side him
with tears in my eyes
for I am the one still alive

You say there's no time
to cry of the dead
but I do
because only him and I
have survived

We know the time has come
to abandon our home
to leave behind everything
that we both love so dearly

our loved ones are gone
and our hearts need some mending
but yet we still hang on
to what is still alive
