People think I fall in love often
because I hang around with boys
what they don't know is that
I love them like toys

I don't wanna disrespect them
because there are boys I love
with all my heart
but with whom I'm not in love

I make believe
so that others won't see
that they can hurt me
but I'm not unbreakable
even though I'd like to think

I look around
see all this love around me
I ask myself
why don't you see me

I'm brave
so I walk to wards you
you look surprised
and then I ask you
