Sisters

by Lonely Little Dreamer   May 2, 2007

A friendship blossoms into something more.
Sisters not by blood but by heart.
Caring, comforting, always there.
Never will we part.

Fights turn into silly laughter.
Hugs take all the sad tears away.
As time goes by our bond grows stronger.
Sisters we remain always.

One more year gone in a flash.
More grown up, more mature.
A sister to be proud of is who you are.
A treasured sister forever more.

(written for a friend on her birthday)

I don't really have a friend close enough to be a sister, though I'd have many brothers. I hope you guys stick with eachother forever; good friends are hard to come by.
