Then there comes the vows
some people begin to ask
"Why and how
could you ever last this long?"

Her mother looks at them
"When a love is strong
that's all you'll ever need.
They have been in love forever can't you see?"

Tears fill her eyes once more
the questions are just too much to endure
'Why can't they just see
the love we have and let us be?'

Everyone gets quiet
as they finish their vows
the preacher looks at them
and smiles at the sight

Two beautiful people
who have such a love
a love that is cherished
and held above
