Beautiful Soul

by gabriella   May 2, 2007

Beauty is something everyone has
The mirror shouldn't say who you are
Make up shouldn't be a necessity
Shapes and sizes should be loved
We should never sell ourself short
Pay for more than we get
She deserves much better than this

Each action
Each move she makes
She feels worthless
She thinks her value has decreased
Each day her body is sold for love
Abused by men that broke her heart
In her sin she's committed acts
That blind here eyes just to see
her value isn't in her beauty

Her heart cries in desperation
A savior gently whispers
Wake up my daughter and see
Your sin and guilt have forgotten thee
Your scars, broses
Your bleeding heartaches
Have all been healed
You've been set free
Your inner beauty has been restored
My beautiful daughter weep no more
Your loving God has rescued thy soul
