Beaten

I searched
longing in desperate hope
for a face that was different
from every one else
I searched for purity in a dirty world
I searched for comfort
In the trash of emotions
I searched for a relationship
Someone who loved me actually cared
Someone who would take me out of my despair
But despite all my searching
and my endless hope
It left me with a heartache in my throat
I searched for dignity and a little respect
But in the end all I found was short term boys
they used me like drugs and loved me for a second
looking for me to give myself away
To reveal all things to satisfy there pleasures
my heart can't take this anymore
It's been bruised and beaten ripped apart .
I'm left here worse off than i was before
