A Day In The Rain

Just thinking off the top of my head,
I realize that I want to see you and me,
holding hands together in the rain,
how it takes all the worries away;the way it sets me free.

I could stand here with you,
for the rest of time if I could,
because your all I need to live,
if I could give you the world then I would.

Our eyes turn to the sky,
as the rain drops fall on our face,
you touch my face and I smile,
my heart beats along with yours;a slow pace.

I close my eyes,
and I begin to pull you close to me,
your everything that i have ever wished for,
I'll never forget the day our hearts got set free.
