Sweet Surrender

First and foremost sinners must receive
To believe in the Love that will relieve
The daily bread of forgiveness is so sweet
It is Divinely shared by all desiring to eat

Our trespasses forgiven as we forgive others
Walking in peace with our sisters and brothers
The Father in heaven has been sacrificed too
Mystery of the communion of Spirits so true

Sorrow bears a cross, fashioned by depraved
Yet, by the joy of surrender all may be saved
Sweet surrender to heavenly saving grace
Lifts all who will receive to such a holy place
