Pure Purpose

by Michael D Nalley   May 3, 2007

Staring blindly at the silent sun
It sheds its true light on everyone
Truth is there for people to hear it
Is it lost to all those who fear it?

Pure purpose naturally meant to guide
That's polluted by waste we can't hide,
The changing matter created by laws
Is it random effect, or the cause?

Inventions are good but can't compare
To a simple element in air
Effect or the cause, it is our breath
The difference is our life, or death

Some criticize it religiously
The purpose of what we cannot see
As if it were such a mortal sin
To know, and to feel too much within

The senses can observe cause, and effect
Of what we may accept, or reject
A system of knowledge is the key
To a perfection eternally
