Forever Glorious

by Hey Brittknee   May 3, 2007

Words written upon paper
unknown talent never found
closet poets hiding
finding inspiration all around

Forever glorious is the writing
of poetry gone unread
little whispers kept inside
like something left unsaid

Forever glorious is the poet
writing all alone
just one person in this world
another name gone unknown

Glorious is the nighttime sky
to the poet that is under
finding words to say the meaning
of the rain and thunder

Forever glorious is the heart
that gives meaning to my writing
in a battle between pen and sword
the pen will keep on fighting

Glorious is the passion
That fuels someone to write
filling spaces upon pages
until finally, it is right

Words written upon paper
unknown talent never found
closet poets hiding
finding inspiration all around

i really like how you brought a very well known line written by a very well known writer, shakespeare. this is an awesome poem! it seems everytime i read your poetry i am even more impressed. you never disappoint your readers. once again, your rhyming was awesome and just the general idea of the poem was very good. good job!
