I try to make it through each day, but I just don't know how
A piece of me is now gone forever
But inside my heart, we'll always be together

I just don't know what else to do
It's like a fish without water
I can't live without you

Oh friend, my friend, let me see you smile
Rise up again, and stay with me a while
Let's laugh again, like old time friends
Because I promised you it was till the end
But now that you have left me
I just don't know what else to do
It's like a sentence without spaces
It doesn't feel right without you

And on the inside, oh how it kills me
All these tears that I cry
