I realize.

by Molly Elizabeth   May 3, 2007

It's the moments of regret
stupid things I've done or said
that really have me asking myself
what the hell your doing with a stupid
girl like me.

It's the times you forgive
and hold me as I cry
that really let me know
were meant to be for life.

It's the moments were together
and I can feel your soft kisses
on my neck.
That really reassure me
you love me so unconditionally.

And it's the times that your away,
I realize I can't stand being without you
I realize I love you more than
words could ever say.
and I just know, Baby, I miss you so much.

Aww. This was rather cute. =D Perhaps due to your stupid mistakes, he loves and appreciates you even more. Anyway. I quite liked this piece; it reminded me of a poem entitled "Faults" by Sara Teasdale:

"They came to tell your faults to me,
    They named them over one by one;
I laughed aloud when they were done,
I knew them all so well before,—
Oh, they were blind, too blind to see
Your faults had made me love you more."

I'm certain that you get both the connection and the point. :)

Nicely done, nevertheless. 'twas rather pleasurable to read. Best wishes, Marian.
