Eyes blink quickly
shut away the tears
not again
got to me, fear

nothing to control
everything but this
completely mine
death's bitter kiss

fear seeps out
kiss away the pain
hot red lips
leave heavy a stain

not for attention
not show and tell
oh so tired
body simply fell

now for all to see
past an open book
lies and secrets vulnerable
whisper, listen, look

watch her lie
limbs gone still
motionless and silent
spines sudden chill

what a mess
color a flood
splattered red
crawling blood

open eyes cry
cant comprehend
closed eyes ignorant
can this mend?

rewind time
she's hurt over again
put through hell
she was then

home sweet home
safe and sound
deadly silent
is the mound
