Prove Me Wrong, Turn What I said Around

by rectifym3   May 3, 2007

We walk in the path of life and,
we find it empty, as we each
step to our graves, our screech
is heard, throughout the hopeless end

As humanity decays down,
Into its own pathetic crud,
The misery we see, the blood
Each spills, are covered down

We drown ourselves, into a sea
Of superficial and vain things,
Just to numb ourselves of our flings
To be blind rather than to see

The time passes, and we wait for
Our salvation, that will not
Show itself, as long as we rot,
We became empty to the core
