Somewhere along the line of our friendship
I dared to fall in love
I dont know how it happened
and I dont know where its from

We began to spend more time together
even when we werent meant to
but I just needed to see you
and it seemed like you did to

We havent been further
than just good friends
and it seems as if thats
where our relationship ends

But i cant help but hope
that the embers of fiery love
have burnt you as much as
they have burnt me

no one makes me laugh
no one makes me smile
no one makes me feel
like you do in awhile

Sometimes when you hug me
I feel the warmth between your arms
Its like a safe place for my heart
where only you can commit any harm

When I brush my fingers against your hand
I feel my skin begin to connect
as if they were designed to merge
as if they had already met

When you speak to me
when its not all joked out
when its really spoken
i just cant help but gaze at your mouth
I just want your lips
to press against mine
where troubles dont exist
and we can forget time

I dont know if i can ever really
tell you how i feel
I dont know if i can really tell you
that i have fallen for you
but if one day you may read this
and im sitting next to you
know that you complete me
