From My Soul

If I could show you what you mean to me it would
take too long, and all I can do is dream and speak of
what will never happen, for now is the time where
nothing will grow, age and time, are the only things
besides the hold of reality has over me, so help me
break away, and be someone who God wants me to
be today, you know because you are the only one
who knows me best, and how I should think, to get me
past the strain of hardships that have come my way.

Your not here, I can't understand, but really I know
because I hurt myself just to say I can't and that this
world isn't meant for me to live, still knowing that I know
you is just enough to make myself move and want
to have hope, still it hasn't came, praying just isn't
enough to lift me up in the light that has always
been there, taking chances just doesn't seem fare, they
never come true and leave me with a bare feeling
that builds up that hatred inside of knowing I may live
without you for the rest of my life.
