The end of the rainbow.

by Teria   May 3, 2007

The end of the rainbow.

Red lips upon mine,
only in a dream.
How I wish it were reality,
becoming our eternity.

Orange crush soda,
filled with sweetness.
How I wish it were you,
if only it were true.

Yellow daisies for miles,
the beauty that each
glorious flower does hold,
just as your heart; pure solid gold.

Green grass upon soil,
that pushes it to grow.
Just as you do with me,
how I wish it were reality.

Blue jays in my window sill
singing that sweet song.
Just as your voice sings,
every time the telephone rings.

Indigo bedspread keeping me safe,
of which I cuddle each and every night.
How I wish it were you,
if only it were true.

Violet lilacs growing on that bush,
filling the air with a sensational aroma.
Just as a smile from you,
if only it were true.

The end of the rainbow,
only comes once in awhile.
It's now becoming reality,
together, just you and me.

Thank you so much for your confidence in me as a writer. However, I wouldn't want you to write like me because I love your style. I love how you express how you feel so well and how your poems always touch me. You too are a great writer and I hope you continue to write, so i can continue to read your poetry.
