Juliet

They became the best of friends.
And swore to stay that way until the end.
Her home was always broken;
Never was there a word spoken.
Instead, there was a constant yelling;
The family just couldn't get along.
So she ran to him for comfort,
More it seemed then not.
Though He regretted letting her go,
He always knew he had to.

One night, as she ran to him for comfort,
She found he wasn't there to give support.
Instead, she found a body and a note,
addressed to her that he had wrote.
He confessed to her the love he held,
and all the years that he had felt.

She cried as she held her best friends head;
She'd never feel this way again.
She'd fallen in love over the years,
but couldn't tell him out of fear.
So as she laid him down to rest,
She found his knife and became Juliet.
