My secret.

by Isabelle   May 3, 2007

I still watch you,
as you talk to somebody, across the room,
I still look at you when you can't see me.

I never stopped liking you,
I swore to myself I would,
but look at me now.

I still look into your eyes,
with a look of anticipation,
that maybe one day you'll like me,
just a little more than my ally.

When I am around you,
I act like we're just friends,
but later,
you'll see me talking like you're mine forever.

You are my little secret,
nobody really knows about.
You are my love forever,
even though I love you in guilt and remorse.

I tried once,
I tried twice,
I tried to stop liking you so many times,
that I stopped being precise.

I know if you figure it out,
you'll hate me though.

Can you hate me today?
Can you hate me please?
Just make me stop liking you,
when I should like somebody else.

I always may love you,
but I hope I do not.
I need to move on someday,
because I know you won't ever be mine.

But it is SO HARD just to MOVE ON,
because I CAN'T LET GO of you.
