The Game

by Yvonne   May 3, 2007

To them it was just a little game
One they thought was fun
They didn't realize how it could hurt
Those were real feelings they were toying with
And it did hurt
The scar is still there
It wont ever go away
They didn't notice the effect till later
But it was a big one
And eventually they felt sorry for it
But in the beginning they just laughed
They thought it was funny
In the end they felt the effect hit them like a stone
Now they are all scared
There is nothing they can do
They wished they hadn't played that game
But it is too late
The damage has been done
There is no turning back time
No healing for that little game

Oh man, your poems are so awesome! I like how you dont use huge words that I have to get a dictionary for. Though your words are simple, you use them in such a way that makes them amazing! Great poem again!
