Mistake

I made a mistake
Writing that poem, fake
And retaliating on you
Even though some of what I said was true
I made a mistake on doing these things
I know all the trouble it brings
I'm truly full of sorrow
I hope you'll forgive me tomorrow
My words have been harshly unfair
I'm falling into despair
For you to hear me say
I took it the wrong way
And blew up in your face
And what you lost I can't replace
But girl, my best friend
I promise till the end
This'll never happen again, I hope
Because this has already made me mope
And lay down and cry
As I hope to die
But I'll love you forever
And never say whatever
