Endless Rain

by Amanda   May 4, 2007

It pours on me
Endlessly...

You left a puddle
The day you walked out my life
Leaving the worst storm-
No weatherman can predict

Knee-high-boots & raincoat
Still keep me wet
No umbrella high
Or large enough,
Can protect me

Loneliness has been my priority
For introducing myself to the Sun
Is no longer necessary

When you walked out that door
Your last appearance
Was the only glow
I've ever needed

The rain has become a fascination
For it understands my pain
It cries like I do
And never ends

It pours on me
Endlessly...
