God saved me
that night
all alone
with that knife
i picked it up
ready to go
but I looked out the window
and saw my sign
the sign that told me
the right thing to do
so i put down the knife
and thought about it a time or two
and looked outside again
only to see my pappap
the one god had taken from me
it changed my mind
and set me straight
so I thank god for the sign
that told me
not to take my own life
