Love....
what can i say that is
cause people say they understand
but do they?.....
i mean think of the one person
you can say you love
could you swear on our stars that hang above?
could you swear on a whisper
or the sound of one that sings
or could you swear on greater things?
how about the moon
or the sun
or all the planets combined
or how about even time
would you use 100 years of your life
for that one you love
for that one who even gives meaning to life?
How can you say you know love
when deep inside you are unsure yourself
think about when you see that person
and think of your first kiss
it had alot of meaning
it had alot of care
but was that love
or just a feeling in the air
was it just a moment
or a lifetime of fate
could it be just their look
when you say you love do you know if they love back?
you could have a big surprise
when you find out
it can be what you always wanted
or it could be what you always feared
it could be just a whole bunch of intentions
or even it can be lust
when you make love
do u think of the feel?
or do you think of the connection?
have you questioned this at all?
cause i have
people make these mistakes all the time
they get very hurt
they even get drived to rhyme
but in all this there is a lesson
there is a moral
is love what we all want?
or is it just a big game?
could it be a big trick
so we don't see the time has passed
or is it something
that could very well be the only meaning of life
so when people say that they love
and they say it with pride
question this
does the ocean stay with one tide?
or is it all different
or is it the same
these things are impossible to answer
trust me i have tried
and i have found nothing
